puffs.

Puffs should be Abigail’s middle name.  Who knew that those little puffs of air are all that you need in life when you’re almost a year old.

little girl in a sailor dress…and her puffs.

she was over the pictures at the end and only focused on the puffs.  I might have to buy myself some.

see you on the flip side

That’s a fortune from a fortune cookie that I randomly found at work.  Of course I ate it.  Those things are so yummy.  And then I read it.  How ironic that it said this.

So, I have an announcement to make.  A lot of people already know but I felt I should announce it officially here on my blog.  We’re moving!  We will be packing up our lives and heading to the great Volunteer state of Tennessee.  Nashville is the place where we’ll hang our hats (cowboy hats of course).

We’ve been planning a move for quite some time and everything just now fell into place in the past month.  For the past two years we’ve been living a life of goodbyes. Brandon has lived and worked in Miami for the past 2 years and we’ve been back and forth between Miami and Tampa ever since.  We came to a point where we couldn’t do it anymore.  We missed each other, we were becoming zombies and slaves to work.  We knew that the only thing we could do to live a somewhat normal life would be to relocate.  We can’t wait to see what Nashville has in store for us….maybe someday a baby or two or ten???? Who knows.  But that’s the part that is the most exciting.  That we don’t know.  There’s no way to know.  All we have is Faith.  That’s all we need.  Sometimes I think that this is the scariest thing we’ve ever gone through…leaving everything to move to a whole other state.  But then I think, we did this before, 5 years ago.  5 years ago for me, 6 years ago for Brandon and everything turned out fine.  We’ve grown so much as a couple as well as individuals.  I’m so happy to be able to look back on this time spent in a tropical climate, meeting many new friends, and experiencing a completely different life than if we had stayed where we were 5/6 years ago.  I’m so grateful.

Brandon will be starting a new job and I will be transferring with my current job.  Unfortunately, photography sessions will have to take a backseat for a few months. Notice I said photography sessions, not photography.  I still plan to blog, write, document our life.  So this summer, this site will be more like a glimpse into our life instead of a glimpse into my photo sessions. The sessions will come back.  I have to keep my business.  This business is my baby.  On this break I plan to learn, research, practice, explore the world of photography.  I will come back bigger and better I hope!   And BONUS:  I’ll be making frequent trips back to the Tampa area for photo sessions.  So clients/friends…keep me in mind!
Keep in touch on the blog, email, facebook.   I will miss you all dearly.  We’ll always be in touch.

To keep up with me day to day, follow me on instagram.  I’m an instagram nut, really.  See this post on how much I love it.

So if you’re in the Nashville area OR in the North Mississippi area…I’m your photographer:)

Love to you all.
