Ok, let’s talk themed photoshoots:
This particular shoot took a few weeks to plan. The majority of the planning coming from the client. If you have an idea for a themed shoot, I am more than happy to help! But keep in mind that if you have a particular type of location in mind, you might have to do a bit of legwork for me
Because I work a full time job during the week, I don’t get the time to go location scouting. Weekends are spent shooting and spending time with my family. So you are my ultimate location scout. Know someone with a farm or an awesome backyard? Call them up! Most people are more than happy to share the wealth. Especially if you let them know that I might be able to cut them an awesome deal on a shoot :) Which reminds me….if you have a great piece of land, farm, etc or you know someone who’d be willing to let me shoot there, send them my way!
Props: I love them! However, I only provide a few props…a chair here, a blanket there, a few books, etc. If there are props that you need that will make your themed shoot come alive, talk to me about it. I might already have them. If not, you’ll have to do some hunting. This is why it’s important to plan, plan, plan.
You know what I’ve always wanted to do? a balloon shoot. I’m talking a ton of balloons…I don’t know how pricey that is..but in my head it looks pretty cool and totally worth it.
I can’t wait to have kids so I can theme shoot them like crazy :)
