How is it that every time I get the camera out to take a pic of my little rock star, he does this??? I have yet to get a sharp picture of him. And that long (but cute) nose just takes over! I’ll get you one day Elvis.
Now that’s more like it. He will only be still when Brandon holds him…not sure why Brandon put his shirt over the pup’s head…interesting.
it started pouring down rain!
but that didn’t stop the party…
and then it got hot, really hot…
they brought in fans to help cool off and needless to say, they were very popular with the guests…
eventually the party had to be brought inside…

right? this was on my drive home from a shoot a couple weeks back. When I was growing up, we’d always listen to Point of Grace in church and there was this one song that I loved called “Blue Skies”. When I see the sky like this, it always takes me back to that song and it’s such a good reminder that we are so small in this great big world but yet we are still loved so much.

My first shoot in downtown Plant City. It reminds me so much of back home in Mississippi. Small, quaint, quite. I met Blair and David out there on Sunday afternoon. Rain almost cancelled this session (love that Florida unpredictable summer rain). But it cleared enough for us to get some awesome shots of baby Colton! He’s due on October 1st and David and Blair are so ready to meet him!
um, let me just say that this is my new most favorite place to shoot ;)
