The image on the left is of Ella in 2009. The image on the right is of Ella a week ago, 4 years later. 2009 feels like yesterday. This family was actually my 2nd photo shoot ever in Florida. It was their shoot that jump started my business. That shoot will be forever special to me. Carrie was a coworker of mine in Florida and quickly became a very good friend. We shared a cubicle and the laughs that were had on a daily basis would make a Saturday Night Live studio audience jealous. Oh how I miss her so!! I’m so blessed that this family travels to Nashville to visit family at least once a year. This year they got to meet Milly and I got to meet Reid.

Sweet Lil Ann Logan (Annie) was born just a couple weeks ago. I worked with her sweet mama, Amy, before I got put on bedrest in the hospital. Amy and her husband Chris had to go through a lot to get her here safely. Get this…one day after I was put in the hospital, Amy was told she had to stay in the hospital as well. So we became bedrest buddies at Baptist here in Nashville. We would wheelchair to each other’s rooms to visit. Bedrest is not fun, so it was so nice to know that just a couple doors down was a friend. After Amy spent what seemed like ages on bedrest, Ann Logan got here safe and sound and is now safe in Mommy and Daddy’s arms. No better place to be.

Gotta love a Dad that will pull out all the stops to make baby happy.

I’m going through all my past sessions to create galleries for my drab facebook page. I’ve been putting it off for years. sad. But now that I have a little time and Milly is napping, I figure I better start now. Came across this beauty. This one has always made me happy.

It’s so fulfilling to capture kids being kids. Honest and real.
